Introducing the Mini Modern Farmhouse! We’re so excited to show off this little cutie that we designed and are producing in our home.

More than a room box, yet small enough to find a place in any room, the Mini Modern Farmhouse is available in two options. Do it yourself with a kit or start with the assembled version.

A great option if you are just getting started in miniatures and want a manageable project. We’ve been having fun using them to try out new styles. (You’ll definitely love our take on a holiday house.)

The Mini Modern Farmhouse is also a great way to share the hobby with a loved one.

The Details

Featuring two levels, the Mini Modern Farmhouse includes a double french door on the lower level and a single window on the upper level. The lower level boasts ten-inch ceilings for a roomy feel, while the upper level has 5.75” side walls that vault to a center height of 13”.

Exterior finishing includes complete board and batten cover, along with standing seam roof design. A peak accent and door awning finish off the modern farmhouse look.

How easy is this build?

Is it easy to build? You betcha. You’ll need wood or craft glue and a roll of masking tape and that is it!

We have tried to make it very simple to put together and it shouldn’t take too long, just make sure you build in enough dry time for glue and paint.

Finishing Ideas

We’ve had so much fun setting up different little scenes using the Mini Modern Farmhouse.

The only hard part is trying to decide whether a room should go in the vaulted upstairs, or with the double doors downstairs.

Check back, we’ll be adding more of these as we go.

We added a silver barn light and custom house number to this front exterior.

For this upper level, we added printable wallpaper, custom wainscotting and pre-printed flooring.

The lower level works well as a living/dining area. Also, you probably can’t go wrong with a fireplace.
